Our Staff

Greg Reicker, Director

I've returned to the camp for the summer of 2010!  Not only am I back for the summer, but I've been living at the camp since the beginning of the new year.  Last summer was great in so many respects, so it causes me to anticipate this upcoming summer!  Edith Lank holds a special place in the hearts of many kids and adults alike, so it has been great to become a part of it all.  This will be my second full summer at the camp, along with my brief stint as the fill-in lifeguard in the summer of 2008.  If you have children, grandchildren, or a little friend who lives to you next door, then I would encourage you to send them to camp this summer!  There's no place like camp where kids get to have so much fun, be part of a loving and encouraging atmosphere, and also begin to learn the truth of what Jesus Christ did for us when He died on the cross.  I would ask you to pray for the camp, the campers, and also the staff as summer 2010 approaches!

Trent Raynard, Head Male Counsellor

My name is Trent, and I'm a high school teacher from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am back for another year at Edith Lank! I am super excited for the opportunity to come back!  I am expecting this summer to be ever more awesome than last summer! If I met you last year, I really hope to see you again. If this is going to be your first summer, I can't wait to meet you!

Jillian Guptill, Head Female Counsellor

Hi, my name is Jillian and I’m from St.George, N.B. I’m a University student going into my third year. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work at Edith Lank for the summer. My hope is that all of the campers will learn about the unfailing love that Jesus Christ has for us. This summer is going to hold many exciting things for everyone at Edith Lank, I look forward to all the fun that we’ll have! I’m so very excited to meet you all; it’s going to be a wonderful summer!

Shannon Saunders, Head Cook

Hello! I'm Shannon and I am going to be serving as the Head Cook this summer.  God has really used summer camps in my life to draw me closer to him and it is a blessing to get to give back. I have spent lots of time at summer camps, but not very much in the kitchen, so lots of prayer would be a great help!  I am really excited to get to work in this new area and see what God has in store for all of the staff and campers at Edith Lank this summer.

Thomas Mitchell, Maintenance/Lifeguard

Hello people of the camping world! I am Thomas! This is my fourth year working at ELMCC, and I can't wait for the camping season to start. I am the maintenance dude again this year and I can't wait to see what God has planned for the summer of 2010. I grew up on this sweet island and went to ELMCC for my entire childhood. It is great fun and I hope all of you on-the-fencers out there decide to come and bring friends! It is gonna be an awesome summer. See you there!

Phillip McAllister, Program/Counsellor

Hi, my name is Phillip McAllister.  I was brought to this camp some four years ago. ELMCC is a place to connect with the people (campers and families alike)so that they can be shown the love that our God has to offer! His blessings are great, and it’s my desire that this summer people will come to know that! For four years I have been attending this camp. It has been a huge blessing on my life back then, and it no doubt will be in many of years to come! See you this summer!

Lauren Quirk, Global Adventures/Counsellor

I've volunteered at the camp for the past 3 years, and I've came back for a 4th year as part of the staff. I'll be the Global Adventures leader this year, and I am very excited to teach all of the kids about Bolivia! I can't wait to be a part of the camp's ministry again, and to help teach all of the children about Jesus, and what He did for us, and how He can help people in Bolivia who are less fortunate than us in North America.

Nikki Fitzsimmons, Assistant Cook

Hey all, my name's Nikki and I'll be helping Shannon out in the kitchen this summer at the camp :) I'm from Fredericton and I've been coming to the camp for pretty much my whole life. Edith Lank is definitely my favourite place to spend my summers.  It has given me so much over the years and made me such a better person that hopefully I'll be to help other kids enjoy their time at the camp as much as I did :) I'm so excited for this summer, it's gonna be awesome!  I can't wait to see what God has in store for us! See you all soon!

Simone Mitchell, Junior Counsellor

Hey! I'm Simone Mitchell, and I'm so excited for this summer!  I can tell it's going to be an amazing one and that God is going to work wonders!  I've been going to ELMCC ever since I can remember, and have volunteered there for three years. I'm so glad to be part of the camp family again this summer! I hope to see you there!
